A native midwestern human who has always loved to listen to and to share stories.

Stories are a way to begin to truly know other human beings. To make our country better, hearts must change. This won’t happen overnight. But, if we want it to happen, each and every one of us nee to try to heed the advice of a great character in American fiction — Atticus Finch — who said “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view…until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” (Former President Obama, January 10, 2017, Farewell Address)

My hope is that these stories are a vehicle for that change.
